Hansons `Sing-a-Jing` Contest Victory for Special Needs Children $10,000 in Cash and Prizes Awarded!

Over the course of the 138 days of the contest, 477,717 pages were viewed from people in 69 different countries, 26,195 votes were cast and 29.61% of the 42,266 visitors to www.hansons.com voted or uploaded videos. The three singers with the highest number of votes were chosen as the winners of the contest. The Grand Prize Winner, Brianna Costigan, will receive a $5,000 college savings bond and a $500 Toys-R-Us gift card. Forest Park Elementary in Eastpointe Michigan, where Brianna is a student in their Special Services Department, will also receive $2,500. The department offers services to all eligible students from birth through graduation with comprehensive diagnostic evaluations including teacher consultant, psychological, psychiatric social work, and speech/language occupational and physical therapy assessments. The Second Prize Winner, Anna Bourassa, will receive a $2,000 college savings bond; a $300 Toys-R-Us gift card . and her school will receive $1,500. The Third Prize Winner, Stephen Presser, will receive a $1,000 college savings bond, and a $200 Toys-R-Us gift card. Mary Immaculate School, where Stephen is a student, will also receive a $1,000.
